Pier 42 rebrand

‘Pier 42’ is an On-Licence wine brand, sold in hotels and sports clubs such as golf clubs. Coors appointed us to freshen up the existing range. Working closely with the marketing manger at the Coors brewery, with developed a number of label concepts based on nautical and seaside themes. Colour differentiation had to be considered for all concepts together with bar visibility. The retro etchings with clean bar visible type came out the clear winner.

BRIEF

I was lucky enough to be approached by the marketing manager at Coors Brewery, after previously working agency side with them for a couple of years. They wanted to rebrand their existing on-licence range ‘Pier 42’. I developed 3 concepts based on the pier theme, with various lateral connections and themes. The retro etchings with clean bar visible type came through as the winner.
